Repairs to boats can become highly involved and your insurer may insist on an accurate damage assessment to be carried out before works can commence.
A damage evaluation survey will provide you and your insurer with a complete appraisal of the extent of damage, giving you a guide to costs and suggesting the best way of actioning repairs to your satisfaction.
This process may be done independently or in collaboration with the appropriate boatyard or practitioner.
You may also consider having repairs independently checked by us to resolve disputes over workmanship or extent of duties. |
